We were in building 8 in the back. Our view had mountains, a neighborhood, and the struggling to stay alive grass, trees and plants. It is apparent that the irrigation system is nonfunctional at this time but the grounds keepers are trying their best to keep things alive. We enjoyed our view. The chairs on the balcony could not be any less comfortable than they were. A folding chair would have been better. The rooms were very nice and had everything we need for our stay. AVOID THIS HOTEL. I just traveled all day to get here and have waited for 7 months to enjoy my stay.
Do NOT stay here until the construction is complete. Waited 4 hours to check in our room and this is the view of Hawaii we have! We were warned about construction noise from 8-5 BUT nothing about the fact our room would be overlooking a dirt hole. Patio is full of dirty dust. Asked for a room change and was told they were full. Offered to move us tomorrow but we would have to check out at 10am and hang out until the new room would be ready at 4pm.
