Very nice place. Especially for families. Amazing people work here and have always been nice. Carlsbad downtown is the perfect little walkable town. Its our family vaca for 13 people and will be back.

We just returned from a lovely stay at Marbrisa Carlsbad. They have wonderful pools and hot tubs, beautiful rooms and balconies, a fully equipped fitness center, and excellent staff. Huge shout out to Kenny G for working to solve and correct a problem we were having. I appreciate it!
If you are a Hilton diamond member, there’s really no point in staying here. Your Hilton status has no value here, being that it is a timeshare style property. Rooms are VERY dated and appear to need some refreshing. Chipped paint, wobbly fixtures, old cabinets and tiles. It just feels like nothing has been done to the rooms in 20 years. I'm really surprised by how highly this place is rated. The grounds are beautiful, but the units leave a lot to be desired. I wasn't sure what to expect, staying at a Vacations Club, but now I know. Pros: Lovely grounds. All the staff I interacted with were very nice. The units are spacious with full kitchens. Cons: My biggest complaint is the noise. I couldn't do the e-checkin and choose my room, and they put me on the first floor. The walls/ceilings are so thin that I could hear every foot step above me. I slept terribly. ... read more
