I've stayed in many Hiltons, and this was probably the most disappointing.To start, a heavily intoxicated man who was not staying at the hotel wandered randomly into the lobby, sat down, fell asleep and urinated himself. Cleanliness was less than satisfactory: elevator carpets were a mess. Apparently there was construction happening on the 2nd floor, but no warning of this on their website upon booking. Hotel is extremely outdated. Ripped and stained chairs in the lobby, old faded carpets, rooms smell like mildew, cigarettes and weed. Safety is non existent. The area seems ghetto/trashy and while staying here, an intoxicated man came into the lobby, sat down, and wet himself. Police were called but the clean up after he left wasn’t thorough. Elevators reminded us of the Disney Tower of Terror ride where they are so rickety and old, you never know when you’re going to plummet to your death. The rooms near us had extremely ro... read more

Continental breakfast where a woman stands over you watching and trying to upsell hot breakfast. She then places the order for you at the same window as the patron could, brings it out along with a bill for a tip despite it being charged to the room. This is a way for the Hilton to keep wages low. It very much gave motel. Not a good look.

We traveled here for our son to visit Hofstra University. It happened to be the weekend of the blizzard (We are still snowed in here) and I have to say we travel all the time and this hotel made sure we were comfortable, warm and had hot meals. To see the staff and even the manager come together as a team shows at a time like this they stick together. We will be using this hotel for the next four years since our son will be attending Hofstra University. Thank you everyone and see you in August… Alabama Family..
