Terrible service in The Restaurant…Apart from one, No smile on other servers face…feel like I am in a Govt funded restaurant and staff won’t care as they near retirement. Felt like Giving tip was a pressure thing to do. Hope Hotel management can take a note on that.
The hotel itself met our needs on short notice and the staff were very friendly. Our only issue was with the behavior of other guests and their lack of parenting when it came to their children, particularly the chaos that was the pool area when I attempted to bring my young children for a quick dip. This issue is not unique to this or any hotel, so I can't fault them for what is really more of a societal issue. I traveled from alberta for a celebration of life and deeply disappointed after seeing the review rating. I expected my experience to be better than i had. First of all the toilet paper holder was broken every time using it fell off the holder. The bottom of the tub looked dirty, and the pillows stunk had a sweat smell. The coffee maker only worked once and had to insist on another one after showing it did not work. The kids running up and down the hall at 1030pm was inconsiderate and disrupted my sleep. Stayed for 1 night. The room was spacious and clean overall but there was a musty smell that wouldn’t go away. Kids were running up and down the halls at times. Meals cost extra. Close to the 401 and GO station.
