We stay at HGIs about 50 times a year, traveling with a 50 pound dog. This one was lovely; a good dinner menu, nice fruit bowl in the morning. The coffee was a bit weak, as was the decaf, but the staff made up for it. In particular, Lauren from the front desk and Tavares at the bar were extra helpful. A few things to note. HGIs don't seem to spend money on the proper amount or placement of bathroom grab bars - the tub/showers have only one grab bar, by the showerhead and faucet. UPDATE: 4 nights, July 2026. Same comments as July 2025. 4 nights, July 2025. Good hotel. Nice lobby. Everyone was friendly. Comfortable bed. Adequate lighting and enough A/C & USB outlets. Full-length mirror. All appliances worked. Good water flow in the shower, but sink was slow-flow. Biggest complaint is that the most convenient door to the elevator is in the back, and all the parking spaces there are for compact cars; ours is a mid-size. We liked the location.
