The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were clean, but the service was disappointing. Some staff members seemed to treat guests differently based on their race, skin colour, or country of origin. It left me feeling unwelcome. I hope the hotel ensures every guest is treated with the same respect and professionalism.

Can't say enough about the team at Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa Downtown. When we checked in, we mentioned we were celebrating our kids' birthday. From that moment, the team made us feel incredibly welcome. Unfortunately, our room had a pretty significant leak in the bathroom shortly after checking in, which could have easily put a damper on our stay. The hotel is actually better than expected. It is clean, well maintenance, location is convenient to a lot of tourist attractions. But there is a deal breaker for me and that is slow internet; it barely reach 5mbps... can't even watch YouTube on 1 device. High speed internet is so common in hotel, and shouldn't pay for a decent high speed internet.
