We stayed here a few times and enjoy it. It's clean, quiet, and you can't beat the oceanfront rooms. The location is great - it's within walking distance to the boardwalk and plenty of restaurants. Pet friendly is a huge plus for us as well.
My boyfriend and I do a weekend getaway every fall to OC and we always stay at Hilton Garden Inn. Location is perfect, the views are gorgeous, rooms are spacious and clean. We love the bar in the hotel too, Solstice. We’ve had the pleasure of being served by Chris this year and last year. We love this hotel and we’ll be back again next year for trip OC fall trip number 4 :)
Rooms are nice and offer a great view but don't expect the room to be clean as they have poor housekeeping staff and General Manager is a joke for being in the capacity and position he holds at this hotel as he is extremely unhelpful with a I don't care attitude toward his guests that patronize this hotel establishment. The hotel is pet friendly which is not good for people who have allergies and you will find pet hair in the rooms because housekeeping is LAZY AND THE GENERAL MANAGER DOES NOT CARE WHICH IS TOTALLY PATHETIC!!... read more
The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and accommodating. At the bar, there was a bar tender that was less than friendly and down right rude. The manager had to be notified in order to get my drinks because he was holding some type of vendetta against us. He would not even allow our server our drinks which is why her manager needed to get involved. Three other patrons noticed this happening to us.
