This Garden Inn claims to have an onsite restaurant. However, the kitchen can’t handle more than 1 ticket at a time. Translation - I ordered an appetizer with a side of fries and it took 45 minutes to materialize. With a basically empty restaurant. They screwed up the order. Pathetic!!! I know it’s one order at a time because I heard every time the fries dropped in the fryer. And only 1 plate ever emerged at the pass at one time. The rooms are comfortable. The pool water is extremely cold - like you need a wetsuit to go into cold. Make plans accordingly. Kids who can run around will probably enjoy it just fine but our infant was not a fan. The breakfast was pretty nice/better than expectations, great service. Front desk staff were helpful as well. On a weekend the breakfast buffet was $14.99. I opted to order a 3 egg omelette for $14 instead though and had a choice of side.

The front desk receptionist, Anna Marie, was exceptionally delightful. She was kind, polite, friendly, accommodating, helpful, and resourceful. She helped me patiently and thoughtfully while also assisting other not so pleasant guests. She managed both of us flawlessly. Many guests were disrespectful, pushy, and entitled. She kept her cool and her wonderful smile. She truly embodies what I think Hilton would like to stand for. I think she should be placed in a higher position and/or given a raise.
