The hotel is in need of maintenance and to be fair, it's in process so it will be better soon. That said, the employees are all helpful and cheery and the food at the in-house restaurant is very good and popular with the locals. Stay out of the back parking lot as that appears to be a work staging area and there's lots of screws and nails in the lot.
Its a comfortable-ish stay. The building definitely could use some maintenance and there are signs up saying they are undergoingrenovations. Outside trash cans were overflowing, multiple homesless people wandering the parking lot, there were nails and screws found all around the rear parking lot. The Garden Grill food was good and the bar was popular with the locals. Staff were helpful, but you can tell this hotel is struggling and occupancy rates were low both times we stayed there.
Just traveling through for the evening and decided to stay here. Good location. Friendly service. Updated and modern rooms. My only recommendation is they need new pillows. They were super thin. Other than that, it was a good stay.
