I have zero time to express my emotions for the amount of positivity that I have experienced with this place and staff because it would take too long! Jen Clay was our event coordinator, and Mathew was our waiter for the night of our wedding in that room of The Vue, and they were absolutely wonderful to me and my family on our wedding night from the moment I had went and seen the venue from the time I checked out. We are very thankful for the opportunity to hold our event at the Hilton Garden Inn. We were well watched over, served, and set up for success by Jaimy (Banquet Manager) and Nancy (Server). The food ("Charcuterie Board" and "Black and Gold Mixer") was top notch and matched our Tailgating theme. The pillows were pretty flimsy and the air conditioning was very difficult to control but other than that everything was seamless. Great location and the food from the restaurant upstairs was fantastic
It's an excellent location for visiting U Iowa.
