Kind staff, all areas were kept clean, room was satisfactory and nice appliances (including a nice sized fridge and freezer), bed was a good night's sleep with comfortable mattress, pillow and bedding. Bathroom was nice (though I didn't care for the scent of soaps). Breakfast was fresh with nice options. Hilton Garden Inn is our favorite (only) hotel in Iowa City. With a fantastic location, clean and updated rooms what keeps us coming back is the excellent staff - always willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Our favorite is Mills, at the front desk, who treats us like family. with a welcoming greeting and can-do attitude, she is professional dedicated to top-notch hospitality.
