The room had a funky smell when I first walked in, kind of like tobacco, but after a while, I either got used to it or it went away. The room itself felt pretty run-down and outdated, though the bed was very comfortable. The walls are very thin, I could hear people walking by and someone snoring in another room woke me up around 4 a.m. I chose this hotel mainly for its proximity to an event, and it worked fine for a one-night stay. I chose this hotel because it was close to a friend I visited. The breakfast was pleasant, not a ton of options, but it had veggie and cheese eggs which were done nicely. My only negative feedback is the front desk needing your license plate AND requiring a slip in your car.

Hotel was clean and organized. Restaurant service was excellent. My salmon and burger were delicious. Safe area and easy to get onto the highway

Shower wouldn't drain. I started my shower and realized the water was not draining, after a couple min the water was 4-5 inches deep. I decided to unscrew the plug and use a washcloth to see if I could unclog it (I had a work meeting and couldn't wait for staff to come fix it). I pulled out something that made me feel a bit sick (picture shown). I'm also not a big fan of carpet in hotel rooms. This was our second stay here. Very nice room and hotel overall. Very comfortable and friendly staff.
