4 Stars? More Like 0.4. I have stayed at roadside motels in remote places that were far cleaner and better maintained than this so-called 4 star Hilton located right near Halifax airport. The room was dusty, the floor had stains, and the bathroom tiles and tub grout had black dirt and mould that was impossible to miss. We had a great experience at this Hilton. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and updated with a lovely view of the rolling hills. The pool was a pleasant surprise as was the gym. We were 20 min from downtown Halifax and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this hotel. The breakfast buffet was complete and varied. We finished off our day at the in-house bar and bistro The Cannery! Will most definitely come back. Thanks to all.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience at the hotel. Upon checking into our room we felt the king bed seemed a bit small so we requested to change to 2 queen beds, there was no availability to do so. We requested to have our room serviced during our 2 night stay and Noone came to do so. Our toilet was clogged, so my husband called guest services to help us. They told us they would give us the plunger to do it ourselves. Which we had to leave in a bag in the hallway to be picked up. We went to use the laundry facilities which... read more

I will start out this review by recognizing that the manager who I spoke with over the phone a few days after our stay did try to remedy things to some extent. Despite this, I feel people should be informed about the airport shuttle (or lack thereof) for an airport hotel. My girlfriend and I booked this hotel as we had an overnight layover so we needed a place to stay with easy transportation to and from the airport.
