The front desk people were unfriendly and didn't want to get off their cell phones to take care of customers, pretty much just grunted when spoken too. Never a HGI again.
Needs an update. It’s definitely giving more of a Days Inn vibe. Broken/dirty shades, not clean, no cover on the box spring, ice makers out of order, charge $10 a night to park and then allow a moving company to take up 10 spaces in front with a tractor trailer. Very run down for the price very disappointing.
Clean and quiet, right off the exit on our way south to Outer Banks so it was ideal for us!
Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn of Fredericksburg could be rated as below sub par. We were there on business not pleasure and the conferences I had to attend were imperative to my line of work. I am my wife's caretaker who requires assistance for day to day living activities and must accompany me on these appointments. In the past, with other hotel chains, the staff and management were usually very cooperative in allowing my wife to stay in the room past check out since my wife requires special equipment and furniture in o... read more
