The room seemed to be clean but once I inspected, the shower had black mold and the sheets smelled like pee. That read enough for me to change rooms and no longer stay at their facility. The staff were nice as friendly.
It’s a good location, the whole place is dated tired and neglected. The bed is comfortable. The shower has years of crud accumulated. Shame on the housekeeper. I understand the dated and tired because they cost a lot of money to fix, however, cleanliness is another matter that is plain laziness and lack of oversight. It is now 10 o’clock in the morning, and I did not see a single cleaning cart in the hallway.
The room was large and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The A/C was a little slow, not as strong as I would've liked but otherwise I very much enjoyed my stay.
I have never written a review before, but I could not let this go. I would give no stars if not for the weekend evening bar staff. We stayed here all weekend and were really looking forward to relaxing with family we haven’t seen in a while. First, front desk was friendly, but wasn’t very knowledgeable about anything besides the one steak restaurant right across the street and Applebees. Not ideal, but it was fine. Rooms are old and dirty. Bathtub is very stained, with mold growing. Fixtures in the bathroom & around the door are rusted. Mattress in the pull out sofa is terrible. You can see & feel every spring. Walls & doors are very scuffed/dirty. The staff member at the front desk was very short and came across aggravated. Especially when another guest was upset about the 3rd time their door key wasn't working however they were more friendly the next time I approached the desk. Ceiling tiles in the hall were missing.
