Decent affordable stay with clean, comfortable rooms at a great location. However, the staff were cold and unwelcoming, and getting the security deposit refunded was a hassle — took several follow-ups before it came through. Good value, but the guest experience needs work.
The hotel is in a great location. It’s a very beautiful hotel and kept very well. The staff is very friendly and polite. Our room was nice and clean. Loved the shower as it had a rainfall option. When we arrived we couldn’t find the remote and we let someone know and maintenance immediately showed up and programmed a new remote.
Elijah at the front desk was amazing!! Knowledgeable about the area and great customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the South Loop area.
I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn South Loop Chicago on February 3, 2026. I left a high-value electronic device (Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses) inside my hotel room. The issue is not the loss itself, but how it was handled. The property failed to conduct a formal internal investigation, did not create a lost item report, and stopped responding to all communication attempts. My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to Chicago. Our room was very clean with a great view of the city and the hotel altogether is really nice and modern! I love that it has an indoor pool and hot tub. Good location near downtown with a lot of restaurants and stores just a short walk away. We parked in a covered ramp right by the hotel for pretty cheap. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
