Wendy at the front desk went out of her way to make sure my stay was comfortable!
I like everything about this hotel except the fact that they make you wait to check-in just because check-in is at 3pm. After an early flight and arrival to the area, one would think that some consideration would be made to accommodate a guest an hour early (especially when housekeepingn leaves at noon so more than likely rooms are ready to be occupied).
The hotel is literally right across the highway from the airport, and they have Free Shuttle service.
I rarely take time to write a review, but when I receive service like this, I have to say something. We left at 4 a.m. to catch a flight out of Buffalo, only to have our flight canceled, leaving us with a 6-hour layover. We called the hotel to see if we could return and use our room for a few hours. Not only did they happily give us our room back, but they also provided shuttle service to and from the airport. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. At check-in, I asked if I could have a room with a decent view. Despite this, I was assigned a room facing the dumpsters. When I called to complain, the front desk immediately gave me a different room — clearly showing that a better room was available the whole time. To make matters worse, Wendy at the front desk told me the highest floor in the hotel was the 3rd floor, when in fact the building has 5 floors. This was simply untrue.
