No air conditioning makes for a bad night of sleep. The staff did nothing but say sorry about that…
The hotel is old and needs a lot of repairs. The thermostat in my room couldn’t be lowered below 73 and that was only if maintenance came and did it. I called and asked but they never showed up. One evening when I got to my room it was 75 degrees. The vanity mirror did not light up as it should have. The ice machines don’t work. This hotel was out of bottled water for any guests (HGI Silver members are to get 2 bottles upon check-in). The 2 water dispensers in the fitness room were broken. The fitness room was 78 degrees or higher. The sheets and pillows smelled metallic.The shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty.
