After leaving For Five Coffee one evening I had stopped in for a quick reset at Hilton and was greeted warmly by staff in the lobby - Bartender named Icess was cleaning up her bar but took a moment to acknowledge me. Being "seen" means a lot to guests and I'm happy to compare the attention to my visit(s) to the Waldorf Astoria in DC. Keep up the good work, and hope to visit again soon!

Having a short stay in Alexandria, we chose the Hilton Garden Inn on Prince Street. Centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The hotel also has a bar / restaurant should you not want to venture out. We also did laundry in the self service laundry on site. Staff was very helpful with packages we had delivered and answering questions we had about where to eat. One note - there is only Valet parking at the hotel so if you want to park elsewhere, you will need to find parking.

Thirdly, the rooms aren't the most comfortable for the price. I ended up paying, with military discount, nearly $1000 ... read more
