Wonderful rooms. Unfortunately the Executive Lounge has changed at this location. We have been a patients at Mayo Clinic 20+ years and always stay at Hilton since its opening— always had access to the Executive Lounge (extra cost). This past year the food (dinner) at the Ex Lounge has been just okay at best— breakfast is now downstairs (not a snob, but when you have had surgery and pay extra for Ex lounge, you shouldn’t have to go all the down to lobby level). The Hilton Building at Mayo Clinic is clean, well-maintained and well-labelled. You can drive up to this building that stands separately from the Mayo/Gonda complex. It is primarily a laboratory building. They do employ vampires, er, phlebotomists. So there is a large open waiting area. If you have any questions about where you need to be TRUST the signage. It seems strange in some places but it is ALWAYS correct. There are only certain elevators that take you to the right building. Also, if you see anyone in a blue Mayo Cli... read more
