Where do I start? 1. Fees that are intentionally misleading and not disclosed. 2. Fees that are credits that they intentionally do not credit so you have to spend 30 minutes on the phone with your credit card company and the hotel to get. They intentionally assume that many will not spend the time. Scam. 3. Unbelievably rude front desk staff. I was called a 'jackass' when I disputed their illegal charges.

Close to Fenway Park – Although I have visited Boston several times, this was my first stay in the Back Bay area. This time I had tickets to see the Red Sox and this hotel is an easy walk, about 15 minutes, to Fenway Park. Our room was spacious and the view out the window was nice too. The only negative experience was at check-in. It appeared that perhaps the person at the check-in desk was in training, so I will not hold it against him. When we arrived at our room, our keys did not work. I called downstairs from the phone a... read more

Civilized accommodations in a fantastic central location. – The Scene While the rooms are more than adequate, it's what's outside that makes this Hilton worth checking out: spectacular views of Boston and the Charles River from up to 26 stories above ground. The location couldn't be better, just a few strides away from tony Newbury Street shopping and close to Symphony Hall. Despite the activity outside, however, the lobby is quiet and relaxing, with soft couches and carpeting, and an espresso bar that adds a sophisticated t... read more

Superb Customer Service – My sister and I came down from So. NH to celebrate my birthday in the city. We were happily upgraded to a spacious room with a balcony offering an amazing view. All the staff, from the valet, bellhops and front desk, were all extremely helpful, friendly and seemed to sincerely care about the quality of our visit. I was wished a happy birthday from all staff even as we were checking out the next day. The food at Boodles was yummy also.

Hidden jewel in Back Bay – This hotel is a real hidden gem. Great location, but still quite and away fm traffic. The hotel has been completely redone from top to bottom. The rooms are huge, views of city great, staff warm and friendly. Best of all great rates, This place is a real winner!!

great lounge – I had a great experience at the randevous bar in the lounge. I stayed there with my husband over the weekend. We didn't expect they had the bar. before going to movie we stopped by and had drinks. the menue was so interesting. I had special drink 'Rose margarita" and my husband had "side car". They were both great. He asked us how we want them and he made us exactly the way we wanted them to be. the bartender gat great hospitality, too. We will come back just for drinks.
