It’s truly unbelievable that the condition of the road at the intersection where four major hotels meet is this poor. These hotels pay enormous amounts of taxes to the local municipalities. Even if we assume the city is not taking action, don’t you feel any responsibility or embarrassment toward your guests—or the drivers who bring those guests to your hotels?

First and last stay at the Hilton Back Bay. The room was nicely redone and very comfortable. As a result of the renovation the TV only had three stations. The broken window on an 8th floor room was a little over the top. You could feel the cold air coming through it. Yes, I did bring it to the manager’s attention ands. Was politely told the would have to get it fixed. Have a nice stay.

Great location and decent rooms, however, I had several issues. Room was not ready at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday so I was moved to a lesser room, mobile room key was unavailable, there is no gym due to a renovation so I had to get a day pass at a local gym. But the worst was the AC situation...my room was very hot when I walked in so I turned the AC on high to cool it down while I went to dinner only to return to a hotter room. We're Hilton Honor members and this is not one of the best at which we've stayed. The rooms are small (and that was with an upgrade), one of the lamps wouldn't turn on, the room was warm and adjusting the thermostat didn't make a difference so had to keep opening the window to cool it down (this is in March with temps in the mid 40's). The bathroom is very small and has only a sliding door so zero privacy if you're staying with another person. Also, the elevators are ridiculously slow.
