Have you ever walked into a giant freezer that smelled like rotten freezer burnt meat? Well picture that but a dark, hot, and humid room that looks like a motel 6 half to a third of the size of a regular hilton. I checked in then checked out due to the rotten smell of the room and was still charged $350 for that night because i stepped into the foul rotten smelling room.

Front desk people and over all service is not that great. Rooms are outdated and workers are not friendly. I can find better hotels in that price

We stayed here because we wanted to go to the national mall but didn't want to stay in DC. The location is perfect! The metro is in the same building as the Hilton. You step out a side door and down the escalator into the metro. At the Smithsonian stop walk up the stairs and across the street and you are at the center of the mall. It is a 20 minute ride and the cost is $3.60 each. The rooms are small but very nice. The beds and pillows are firm and good quality.
