Very convenient location being next to Ballston Metro line coming in from Dulles airport and then into Central Washington. The price and quality was very competitive. The surrounding streets were fine for waking around and there are plenty of places nearby to eat. The hotel had it's own restaurant, but I didn't use it. Check-in was good. Two complimentary bottles of water as I was a Hilton Honours member. TV had a personalised welcome message if you like that sort of thing. Worst Hilton we’ve ever been in. Musty smell in every room and hallway that you can’t get out of your clothing without washing it twice. Loud mechanical noises through the night vibrating the bed. Absolutely horrendous hotel. Wouldn’t even go back if I got paid staying here.

There was a horrendous smell of ammonia on the fifth floor for our entire stay (September 2026). It’s worse in the hallway, but you can smell it in the room. The outdoor seating is nice to have, but there aren’t cushions on all of the chairs, so they are uncomfortable. The ones that do have cushions are Walmart quality.
