I have a 1968 Bonneville that Mike and his team worked on. I have found them to be a reliable source for fixing classic cars, as their mechanics not only do fine repair work, they also are excellent problem solvers when faced with unusual situations that always come with old vehicles. Took my newly purchased used car to Hillyard to have it inspected and checked for any problems that need to be addressed. I also took some parts that I wanted replaced as well and they did an amazing job of taking photos of what needs to be fixed and sending me a detailed report/estimate, and the owner Mike even called me to go over the things that should be addressed now and things that could wait. Great shop! The dealer told us we needed to replace our brakes. We took it to Hillyard and they did a free brake inspection and told us there were no issue.
I was very impressed with Mike and the team when I brought my SUV in to have the AC repaired. They addressed the issue quickly and were very transparent about pricing and estimates, and what needed to be done. It turned out that the entire system needed a recharge. I had forgotten what cold AC felt like (very important for August in Virginia)! Great customer service and I can tell that they take their reputation seriously. I will definitely be returning!
