We were so excited to go and enjoy and unfortunately we were all disappointed with our meals. We had the prime rib, bbq ribs, relish tray, pork chop, and broasted chicken. So basically we tried a ton of different dishes and none of them were good and our waitress treated us like we were an annoyance to her. Unfortunately, we probably won’t go back. I hope you all have a different experience as we always want local businesses to thrive.
Favorite prime rib I’ve had in quite a long time. Edge to edge medium rare, delicious wedge salad. Not a huge fan of the old fashioned but the blackberry old fashioned was tasty.
I love this place. We were taking the back road from the north shore back to St. Paul and about the time we got hungry, we saw the Hilltop. Great burger with fries for lunch.
Have to edit my review, first time there was great, BUT, second time not so good. It was good until we sat down for dinner. Could tell waitress was overwhelmed, she had way to many tables. Salad was just lettuce and 1 sliced cucumber, walleye tasted burnt, potato was really small, no offering of bacon, cheese or sour cream, the prime rib was so so, had to ask for sauce to dip in and the prices...wow, our fault for not paying better attention but 32.00 for walleye that is insane and 6.00 for mushrooms and onions crazy.
