Best Restaurant in Monroe !! Love this restaurant - definitely my favorite by far. Excellent food, great quality and a large variety. Their seafood is great - especially love their mussels. Would also recommend the chicken piccata and grilled chicken - their chicken is always cooked perfectly and never dry. Prices are reasonable - some dishes are more pricey, but there are many meals for under $10 as well. The New Hilltop! Spiros Hilltop restaurant is a romantic atmosphere. The food is a little more expensive then most places in Monroe, but in my opinion worth the extra money. We get some of their best stuff even for take out. They have a crab legs appetizer (1lb) for only $7! The grilled chicken Alfredo beats anyone else in town. The lunch buffet is good, but they are closed on Mondays. We've never been to the bar in the basement but have heard it is hopping on the weekends.
Great Atmosphere! I would highly recomend breakfast or lunch! They are not the "cheapest" but have higher quality. You sit under giant chandeliars and eat the buffet (very reasonable priced!). I go here almost every Sat morning, and sometimes for lunch during the week. Their french toast is the best!
Weird review?!?! WOW< did that last review really say "I would invite anyone of any race or wealth" that alone makes me not want to go, this review seems contrived. I was recently at a fundraiser in which this place was catering. The food was almost inedible. Then i was at a conference the next day at the same place, same caterer.... EATING THE SAME FOOD AS I DID THE NIGHT BEFORE. I would not recommend this place.
Great Restaurant! The new building makes this place look as good as the food has always been. We had our company Christmas party in their room upstairs last year. The food was fantastic and the service could not have been better. I had their fried fish platter and my husband had a steak with shrimp. Both were very good. It's my favorite place to go eat seafood now. The food is reasonably priced. I recommend Hilltop Bistro and Bar.
