If you have a HMO, go elsewhere. They refuse to send referrals in a timely manner. If you ask for a callback, you’re not going to get one. At least not for the reason you called for. I’ve been promised a call back 4 times in two weeks, regarding one referral. The only one I got was a call back to reschedule my appointment. I never called to make or reschedule an appointment. They will blatantly lie about the status of a referral and following up with patient concerns. I have no idea how they have been this bad for so long.
