RecommendedMy son’s passing has been the most difficult time of my life. The wonderful staff at Hillside Chapel made this horrible tragedy bearable for all of his family. The facility is beautiful and everyone was willing to help with any needs required. I highly recommend them and will choose them again if ever the need arises.
I started making arrangements for my grandmother months before she passed. She was a hospice patient and her health was declining day by day. I called every funeral home in Gainesville. Hands down Hillside beat all there competitors in price. However, more important than money is the respect, compassion, and support we received from all the staff at Hillside. I lost my father on 8/9/18, and I was referred to Hillside Chapel Funeral Home by the coroner. Miss Cindy was an absolute blessing throughout the entire process of setting up visitation, death certificate, service for the funeral, and having him back from cremation within 24 hours of the funeral service. Cindy was very thorough and I cannot thank her enough for what she and the other funeral home personnel did during my week's time of this process. God Bless you Miss Cindy, I am forever grateful.
Cindy and Jose were excellent to work with so compassionate, they try to accommodate your every need. They treated us like we were family. I would highly recommend using their services. I cannot say enough good things about this funeral home. The prices are very good also.
Hillside Chapel and Cindy were so compassionate and professional when I lost my dad recently. She handled everything for me in such a courteous manner so that all that I had to do was concentrate on hiding myself together and being there for my extended family. Thank you Cindy Butler.
