Less than great... – My husband and I moved to the St.Louis area and I got a referral from a friend about Hillside. They gave me all of Dr. Ed's stats (same as all the other people in the reviews- maybe he has these posted in his office or something, because the ones in the review are the same ones that my friend gave me...) I took my dogs for their annual check up and had to wait a while before being taken to a room. This is when I was told that both dr.'s were at a conference and I'd be seeing a sub. The fill-in dr. was fi... read more

Great Veterinarian – Dr. Ed and Dr. Betsy are the best. While at first look they seem expensive, they are really not. They diagnose carefully and fully eliminating the need for extra visits. They truly have the best interest of my pets in mind in a non judgmental way. They help me look at the big picture when caring for my pets. They are willing to help me go the extra mile to save my baby, but help me make the best decision for my pet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Ed has extensive in pet rescue medicine so he is v... read more

Great staff! – I'm new to St Louis and have taken my dog to Hillside 2 times now. Both times, the staff was very friendly and I didn't have to wait for her to be seen by the doctor. I have a 4 year old pomeranian and she just got her vaccination shots. The next day she wasn't acting like her normal self. When I called Hillside they were about to close for the day - they made a special trip back that afternoon to see my dog (she had a fever) and gave her a shot and medicine to make her feel better. When I asked how I should p... read more

Saved my cat's life – Hillside vets provide care to animals staying at Stray Rescue, a no-kill shelter in St. Louis, at no cost to the shelter. They have big hearts. They also saved my cat's life. She was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and had to stay at Hillside for five days. She now is fully rehabilitated and back to her old self. The staff is friendly, the location is central, the facility is clean, the vets are awesome.
