I’m honestly shocked that the Hillside Avenue apartments in Red Deer are being rented out in their current condition. The photos used to advertise these units are completely misleading. Inside there’s visible mould, loose baseboards, bugs, sewage smells coming from the sinks, and constant banging from pipes and the HVAC system through the night. Heads-Up to Families & Anyone with Health Conditions If you're considering moving into an Avenue Living building or currently live in one, especially here at Hillside please be aware: Although the lease clearly states smoking must happen at least 10 feet away from entrances and windows, residents are frequently smoking right outside windows and doorways—including near main entrances and shared walkways. This location is beyond neglected by the company, constant damage to the apartments, drug activity, huge safety hazards for the residents daily. Management won’t do anything to fix it and like to ignore emails/calls from their tenants. I would give 0 stars if I could

There was a baggy of drugs found on the property, there's piles of dog poop that have not been cleaned up by the other tenants, my smoke alarm was non functional until last week and I moved in on the 1st, homeless persons and drug addicts go dumpster diving on a daily basis in the properties dumpster
