I want to thank Doc Corman, the staff, and administrators at Hillsboro for how you handled the situation Friday. I am a school board member, but I am also a dad of three kids in Hillsboro, one in the intermediate. Just like every other parent, my first thought is to go get my kids and make sure they are safe. Your frequent updates and the training of the intermediate staff made the day much easier for myself and other parents. Keep up the good work!
It's sad when a school official says its not their responsibility when their students and teachers are aware of other students bullying students who are unable to defend themselves. This shows behavior of agreeing that wrong is right. Do your job as a school administrator and step up to the plate you were hired to ensure the children learn and make sure they are safe when so many parents entrust their children well being at your schools.
