Absolutely horrible experience. Can't get the doctors to do what you ask them to, can't get anyone to reliably communicate with you. I'd be surprised if they even communicate between each other in the office, because that's how bad it is. Doctor Serata specifically told me that my spinal deterioration and instability would not affect migraines - something that not only should be bare minimum knowledge for a care provider, but something that is also just common sense. Quality of care is good - scheduling is good. People are friendly. BUT, you will get CHARGED as much billing as they can possibly code for a visit, and they are not interested in re-coding something even when you pose a legitimate complaint. The doctor would not consider talking about it with me. I had to work with billing, Cigna, billing, Vandy patient affairs, the charge nurse of the Hillsboro unit - all to no avail. Have to pay an unjust bill to keep my credit rating secure - I'm done with Vanderbilt.
Been trying to get a Dr here for months. Not a nurse and not a resident. Now I found a mass and they can get me in to be seen for three months, they advised to “go to a walk in clinic.” If that’s what you want from your primary care, this is the group for you!
Hillsboro Medical Group is one of the most caring, thorough clinics I've ever been a patient at. Dr. Angel and her nurses are the best! Without going into my own health issues, all I can say is that Dr. Angel will go above and beyond and beyond for her patients. I just know she is always available when I need her. Her nurses are the best. I always recommend Dr. Angel and Hillsboro Medical.
