A group of women rented a house for a girls weekend. The house was pretty nice....but within hours of checking in, the AC unit broke when we were adjusting it. We called right away to let them know and see if it could be fixed. It was expected to be a hot weekend so we were hoping it could be fixed. Maintenance came out and looked and it and decided that we broke it (with in hours of being there?????) and that it couldn't be fixed. What a Shame We rented a cabin that had a deceptive description, and this management company's response was the rotten cherry on top. If you're duped by a property's description (we had a "game room" that had exposed fiber glass and plywood floors, with an unbearable smell, for starts), expect to receive a response from management that sides with the property owner regardless of facts. Other reviews describing staff as rude are accurate from my experience. Book with AirBnB and avoid the Hills O' Brown cartel.
Stayed at Woodland Castle. Do NOT stay here. No matter what you do, they will charge you extra when you leave, for some reason they will make up. We left this cabin better than it was when we got there, and they still charged us extra money for made up stuff. Don't take any wood from the forest to burn in a fire, that is a no no. How about supplying your guest with firewood then? As much as you charge, that should be a given. Our stay was terrible, accused of things we didn't do, and were extorted for more money.
