Old growth tree lined fairways are the best for those of us who like a challenge but lack a long drive
This is a pretty cool course with decent care. The only problem I have with this course is that the first hole is superlong downhill par three and for most golfers that aren't really great like me, it can start you off with a really bad score and ruin your day right from the get go.

My wedding was May 30th 2015! It was an amazing day and Todd did an excellent job making sure my vendors and coordinators had everything they needed! He even continuously checked on me and my groom throughout the entire night! Thanks for everything Hillcrest! I was a HAPPY Bride!
This was a very good course. ALL of the staff were very nice and courteous. Highly recommend giving this a try.
I have not been inside the club for many years, but,spent many years there as a child, even born in the apartment up stairs if still there. It still to this day looks like I remember, the course is beautiful!! I did play some golf here as a child. I have a lot of old pics, even china, silver from the club.

Played Hillcrest yesterday for the 5th time in my life and I must say how much I appreciate it. It was in good shape and played very fair. It is the kind of course that makes you use every club in your bag which is nice. Well done to the staff on the conditions. I hope this Donald Ross gem stays in play in KC for years to come.
Great course. Difficult to stay in the fairway on a lot of holes. Long for women. Challenging.
