I have made over 225 attempts to communicate with Hilltop Equities LLC to recover my security deposit. I even filed a missing persons report on them because the amount of times that I reached out is absurd. The detective notified me that the person they found said "we will deal with this when covid is over". Well it has been 18 months now. I don't even know what my options are at this point. Actual crooks. Don't bother doing business with anyone who associates with them. Won't do even the most routine maintenance, let alone maintenance required by law. And then they had the nerve to hound me about money when my security deposit still hasn't been returned. I would be more worried about them finding out about my review and coming after me if I didn't already know from experience that they don't bother doing the bare minimum of their job.

I have waited months for my security deposit. I have emailed 3 times and called about 20 times. All extension mailboxes are full. Holding my deposit is illegal and I cannot get a hold of anyone. They are more than unprofessional. It’s ridiculous that they are still in business. If someone who works for them sees this, please contact me, as I STILL do not have my security deposit. At this point it is theft.

I’ve been hounding these people for months to make small, simple repairs - INCLUDING fixing my door buzzer that hasn’t functioned since move-in - and they’ve done nothing. In fact, they even told me the repairs I was requesting “weren’t a priority”. $1900/month to be told essential tenant services WE SIGNED A CONTRACT you agreed to provide aren’t a priority? FOH. Clowns.
