I was looking for someone to move my water heater out a few feet from my basement wall and had Joe referred to me by another professional. He came the same day I called to give an estimate. He recommended I get a new unit and showed me exactly why it was needed (mine was 13 years old and pipes were corroded!). The next morning, I had a brand new water heater installed and he removed the old one. Our furnace needed a thermal coupler. He would not install one, but instead recommended a new furnace and an excessive amount of work be done before we could have heat. It was 16 degrees out at night and left with no heat, and a quote for over $10,000 of work be done first. I asked how soon he could begin but no answer, just a business card. He said that to look was free of charge, then asked for $60.00 for the visit afterward.
