Awkward In my visit to Dr. Sheppard she was very much like the other online reviews I read about her after my ob referred me. She seems very smart and so on but she was hard to understand and a bit awkward and uncomfortable. My pregnancy issue is not life threatening to me or my baby and the visit was as much about getting sonogram video as diagnosis confirmation and treatment, it's just the interesting thing that this Dr. is so strange. Rude She is rude! OMG, this was so stressful it was like from a movie!
Incredibly b****y Dr. Sheppard saw my wife and I b/c she is 42 and pregnant. We needed to ultrasound to determine the presence of chromosomal abnormalities commonly associated with her age. The tech, Cathy, was great: thorough, patient, explained images to both of us as she went, made sure my wife was comfortable. When she encountered something during the US she gently told us about it and said Dr. Sheppard had to take a look.
rude We were refrred to Dr. Sheppard by our ob/gyn for some concerns. Its my third so i wasnt really worried.
Dont leave her alone with your husband This woman should be doing something else. She was very late for the appointment which was bad enough, and she was just plain rude to my husband. At her suggestion, he stepped out of the exam room and sat in a little sofa/reading room, next to the exam room and she continued the exam.
