Every 1-star review of Hill Country Flooring is spot on. My experience was an absolute nightmare—easily one of the worst remodeling disasters I’ve ever dealt with. Chris is completely unreliable, both as a project manager and as a so-called professional. In reality, he’s neither. Don’t be fooled by his slick talk. SCAM! Worst person to work with. (Chris) . He explodes his workers, workers finish their jobs and he just doesn’t pay them and fires them, and hires different person and does the same. Besides he left my job incomplete and paid him more than he had done, no responsibility for his work. Called his providers (3) if he had (Chris) bought materials and every provider told me he didn’t purchase them. He still owes me a bunch of money. Had to hire another company to finish his mess. Be careful in hiring him. (Scam)
We hired Chris Campbell and gave him money for stone, hardwood floors, paint, labor and other concepts. We noticed the workers didn’t get pay. He makes the work and when they finish he kick them out and brought the next worker with the same process of exploration. He asked us for weekly money and made the fraud without finishing everything that we had paid and keeping our money. Take care with him and his Bussiness. 2025 Update: Because I had a good experience in 2022 laying vinyl in my downstairs I went back to Hill Country Flooring for my stairs and upstairs. This time was a complete nightmare. Horrible communication and subpar work. Very disappointed. Worked with Shane as the field rep though I did email Chris some of my concerns mid job and he never responded.
