RecommendedThis was a very pleasant surprise on our afternoon drive through the hillcountry. The waitresses were friendly and the food was delicious and fresh. my husband got a breakfast entree since they are offered all day and I had a chef's salad so that I could have room for dessert. I ended up getting cherry pie for dessert which was pretty good with a dollop of vanilla icecream but I should have gotten the the peach cobbler that my husband got because it was so good. Good thing we plan on going again!!
High hopes going to this place. Was very disappointed. Chicken Fried steak was not great and the Sweet Tea had a weird taste. Service was good though.

We loved the down home small town feel of this restaurant and really loved the breakfast menu. Just a lot of fun.
RUDE!!! Party of 8, 2 families of 4. Was told there would be a 10 minute wait, no big deal. I told the waitress we could separate if it would be easier for them because we had 2 families of 4. Was informed by the waitress “she will not separate a party of 8, especially with kids.” So we said ok, we would wait the 10 minutes for a table. Another waitress approached us and told us we had to go sit on a bench to wait and were not allowed to stand where we were at by the front door.
