I want to start by saying the staff truly wants to help. They are doing their best with limited resources and a set of rules that, at times, seem throughly illogical. They are nice, and actually put their whole selves into the job. On the other hand, I never saw an actual psychiatrist, only a nurse practitioner and only 3 times during my 7 day stay. I saw the therapist, by pure luck of arriving Saturday evening, every day for group, and only twice one on one. The therapist is a great lady, but she is borderline and it shows ... read more

Everyone who is writing a negative review most likely refused most of the staffs efforts to help and didn’t oblige. I’m grateful to have ended up at a place like this. Anyone would be. The staff works their ass off for everyone, especially the female staff, they bring the most exceptional tender care. They definitely work with what they have and they do their best to make a comfortable environment. My experience there was really good from beginning to end. All staff I came in contact with I considered profession and helpful. They, many, times went out of their way to help me and answer questions. All the way to getting me home, they were all awesome. Please tell Pete and Rachael that I have followed through with my aftercare and gave them ( at home) my requested paperwork. Also, thanks for being so good to me bringing me to Llano and home. Thanks again for everything. It's a necessary thing and a great experience. Miss... read more

Honestly horrible at treating mental illness. Usually tries to force Christianity on their patients, including threatening to send them to the State Hospital if they don't find Jesus. Extremely abusive.

Stayed here for about 5 days in early 2019. Here was what I endured: A fellow patient verbally assaulted me almost every second she could because she disliked the fact I was a white skinned male. Staff did nothing to stop her. We were given food that was not always cooked properly and they often made mistakes in serving people with or without allergies. There was a person there allergic to shellfish who they almost served shrimp to. From what I could observe, the staff had a tendency to leave certain items out of forms and w... read more
