We hired Hiline for their Super Shell option for an ADU, and overall the concept and execution were great—**with one major exception**. The sales, design, and early construction phases were excellent. Levi (sales) and Dan (initial PM) were professional, responsive, and helpful with design changes and permits. Once construction began, Bryan took over and was outstanding—knowledgeable, communicative, and consistently on site. Had a large RV Garage built, and I did all the electrical, insulation, and interior walls (OSB/Metal). Studs were not consistently spaced and all over the place. The concrete slab was the biggest mess. I paid over $2000 extra for pink rebar and a 6" thick slab, and it cracked everywhere. HiLine immediately blamed the site contractor, then the concrete company and then Gosselin Construction (who poured the slab). What happened to keeping your customers happy? Nice homes and good staff.. Jonathan, Dan, Matt… Management of the branch is a failed leader. Their delays in getting my plans cascaded into other delays to start such that they essentially refused to honor a promotion because it expired, which would’ve saved me over 13,000. Refused to accept any ownership of responsibility or deficiency and reverted to threatening penalties and lien if I refused to pay the final installment. Beware of the gimmicks to draw you in. Not impressed-Sheetrock not good. Kitchen counters are so un level that things roll off. Floors are not installed appropriately as the flooring is not under the molding. Would not recommend Highline again-subpar subcontractors
