RecommendedWe would definitely recommend Hillary's Hound House to any new puppy parents. We got a puppy during COVID and it was difficult to socialize our new puppy with everyone sheltering. Hillary is in tune with the puppies and makes the right suggestions for you to work with them (and not overwork them). Yesterday we took Amber to a place where we could do recalls that had a number of distractions, and our pup did them flawlessly. We were impressed. She also showed us how to distract the dog from barking and it works great.
Hillary and her team are amazing trainers and they love all of the puppies in their care. Our puppy started at nine weeks old and she learned recall like a pro, basic commands and had a lot of socialization with other puppies. I’m so grateful for Hillary’s Hound House for giving our puppy such a great start in life!
I was an intern for Hillary while going to school to be a dog trainer, she is a great teacher! Showing owners how to properly train a young dog using positive reinforcement. My puppy Titan attended her program as my student and she provided me with real world tools to help make training him easier and fun too! Thanks Hillary for being a great role model and helping me figure out what type of trainer I want to be and examples of great training games!
What a wonderful place for puppies. I enrolled my 4 month old English Pointer puppy into the JumpStart puppy training program and it has been fantastic! My puppy has learned so much in just 5 weeks and he loves going to daycare, it’s like a second home. Hillary and her staff are so friendly and kind, they are there to help you every step of the way to make sure you and your puppy grow together.
