One of the better home builders I've personally owned homes built by Mayer Homes as well as have friends who have built their new homes with Mayer Homes and can say that their homes are well constructed. Some of the other builders I've seen take a lot of shortcuts and have lousy contruction crews. Mayer has a good reputation in this area and does build quality homes. Prices are higher than the average builder though. They also respond well to any issues that develop to maintain their reputation.
