A few months ago I was sent to Cape Fear Valley Emergency Room from an Urgent Care facility because I tested positive for Covid-19. I had a raging fever and and I suffer with asthma and was not breathing well. I was not having severe breathing problems. The staff that checked me in were nice but after the check-in I did not receive any medication for my elevated temperature. wouldn’t recommend this hospital to my enemy!!! This hospital nearly killed my husband! Negligence cause him to have several health problems under the care of Cape fear medical staff. The poor care left him with multiple issues that we are having to navigate through! The lies the doctors have used to keep him either in the hospital under care is beyond words. This place doesn't allow anyone to go in with a patient. If your doing a full anatomy of the baby the father or the grandmother should be able to go in. I understand the Covid procedures but if we don't have any symptoms or anything what is the problem??? There are girls and women that have fears of being alone or being by themselves, they are scared, they have anxiety and depression. You need to make exceptions for these ladies.
Please don't ever go there. This hospital was the worst ER experience I have ever had. I went to the hospital with a dislocated shoulder. When I left, my shoulder was still dislocated. But the hospital was very happy to send me a multi-thousand dollar bill. I spent 3 hours in the waiting room waiting to be seen. I was moved to the holding area for another hour while I waited. I finally saw a doctor who gave me ketamine and tried to put my shoulder back in place. After they left, I never saw anybody for another hour. I... read more
I am so dissapointed in this hospital. I drove from Fayetteville to Raeford numerious times because i believed they were the best hospital, however, over the years ive noticed the care from the Dr.s wasnt there anymore. You wait forever to see a Dr. that wants to get you out of there as soon as they can. I had dental treatment done on the 6th and when my face and kneck started to swell that night my dentist told me to go to the hospital and get checked for sepsis.
