Wellbridge has some outstanding personal trainers. Sadly, the facility itself, which is chronically without hands-on management, fails on many levels. In the hottest months of the year, for the last two years, the gym has been unable to consistently provide air conditioning, or even air circulation, in the aerobic-exercise area that contains treadmills and stationary bikes. Attempts to address the problem have been feeble and transient. In contrast, the AC in other areas of the gym is highly functional; there seems to be an ... read more

New Mexico Sports and Wellness – Do not sign any contract with them. There sales reps are, well sales reps. You will be lucky if you get anything factual out of their mouths. Their contracts have so many hidden fees its ridiculous. Its like a cell phone marriage agreement between them. And if any terms of the contract are void you are quickly sent to collections (including numerous fees), going on your credit with little or no notification to fix the issue beforehand. They are one of the most unethical fitness establishments... read more

Run away to another gym – Not recommended. You pay for aging tennis courts, a scuzzy pool, and potted plants. Dues go up every year. Staff turnover is about 400% per year. When you leave, be sure to give two months notice because the contract requires you to pay another month. Defined Fitness is much better and half the cost for me.

Horrible Experience!!! – Horrible Experience! Appointments were not kept, Over Charged on Fee's, Trainers very rude and intrusive- Took a full month before the new client service person Joanne kept her appt and met with me, Spoke with Johnny and another client service person they could not get the paper work in order. Paperwork was never sent to the Corporate office so the fees were not correct and was overcharge by almost $500, Trainer canceled appt's, When working on weights or equipment I had various trainers(on more than... read more

DIRTY pool – This place has the location and potential to be a high-end facility but they can't even keep the pool clean. Every time I swim there is a wad of hair in my lane, plus brown smudges on the bottom that turn into a cloud when you swish them. Pool deck has issues, too. Management needs to pay attention, but nothing is done in response to complaints.

Atlanta Northeast Club - Ripoff – I was a loyal member for many years, always paid on time. They made several accounts for me and then charged me with late fees for their mistake. Thanks a lot. There is a lot of old people there too, and the gays frolick in the locker rooms. Stay away.

Scary women's locker room – Was in the women's locker room recently and there was this woman who works at a news station using her cell phone. Have no idea if she was recording the conversations in the locker room or taking pictures.

Beware – This club will rip you off!!! I was a loyal member for several years paying on time. I moved out of the neighborhood and they made the cancellation process a nightmare, including pushing out the end-date to charge us an extra month even though they staff themselves knew we were trying to cancel. The instructors and trainers are nice but the management is lacking. There are several other gyms that are more affordable within the area, shop around. Save your money and avoid this club!

Great Staff – I recently re-joined Athletic Club Northeast after a 12 year hiatus. I have been very pleased with my re-association with the Club and have taken up racqetball as an alternative to squash. My reason for writing is primarily to discuss the staff and the excellent job they are doing for members. I have always received prompt, courteous service and fell very comfortable while working out. In paricular, I would like to recognize Michael Murphy who reinstated my membership. His cheerful disposition and warm greeting... read more
