Single worst insurance I have had in the last decade.
Highmark is a headless corporation with no clear direction. As both a customer and a employee for 15 years I have Seen them change in a bad way, to the point I exited, as they presented no real options for my future. They became so cost per claim driven, the stole from their own employees in premiums in a way that was dishonorable, so as to pass this on the Customer relations that they and their subsidiaries should be ashamed to collect any money from them(highmark heath) the only one greeder is UPMC (University Pittsburgh m... read more
Website constantly changes and you cannot find basic information. When you call in, the customer support isn't helpful. You end up making a ton of calls and hope what you figure out on your own is correct.
Horrible health insurance company. I've actually never had insurance this bad in my life. Almost nothing is covered and I need to pay hundreds out of pocket for every little bit of routine labwork or small procedure I get.
