Highline has some crappy ER doctors. They also got good. When someone goes in for pain it doesn't mean that they are a drug addict. Severe Diabetic, can't eat can't take meds pain so bad light is flashing behind eyes. And severe neuropathy. Prescribed Lyrica. Ok but needs something to take edge off so they can eat. Lyrica takes a couple of days to work. This is why we have pain meds issues. People then feel they have to get the illegally. This isn't the first time . You can remodel this hospital all you want. As a so called "non profit" organization, all you care about IS PROFIT. You have recently charged my insurance just over $27,000 for an appendicitis surgery performed in July 2014. The itemized bill is an ambarrassment to this entire medical system. Your mark up is in the 100's if not thousand percent.
