Great facility, great nurses/techs, terrible billing! Sent me an estimate with expected costs for my surgery but never did the statement say "payment required before surgery." Further, the estimate even says "NOT A BILL." But of course when I check in to my surgery, the "estimate" was required to be paid IN FULL (>$6000) before they would admit me. Dr. Craig Villari is exceptional! I’m relatively skeptical about doctors, but Dr. Craig Villari changed that for me. I recently had a minor surgery with him and was supremely impressed — not just with the outcome, but with his exceptional care and demeanor throughout. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH BILLING IN MY LIFE!!!!!! I wish there were legal repercussions for this kind of incompetence and neglect. As someone who works in customer service and deals with invoicing clients I am absolutely appalled at whoever is managing this place.
I had a wonderful experience with the surgery center staff. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the entire transition smooth and stress -free. Everyone was so accommodating, and I truly appreciated how well they took care of my husband. However, my experience with the billing department was frustrating. Unfortunately, they have a consistent issue with billing errors. Not only do they often bill incorrectly, but it’s also nearly impossible to get in touch with them.
