I went by ambulance, experiencing muscle paralysis from potassium deficiency and a torn bicep. When the orthopedic surgeon declined to repair the tear due to his son's sports engagement, the attending told me, "well, COMPLETE recovery is unlikely, anyway. And pain can be managed with Tylenol". Translation: "Your deformed musculature and intense pain isn't important, because your care isnt". Avoid this place if you must. In an emergency, transfer as soon as you're stable enough. Please.
