Initially I was nervous because I chose the surgeon through Surgery Plus and the services had mixed reviews but I had a great experience at Highlander Surgical Associates. Dr. Harrison was nice and answered all of my questions before and after surgery as did the nurse, Nancy (who is his wife.) The office staff submitted my FMLA paperwork in a timely manner to my work so I could have the proper time off work post-surgery as well as made my return to work in the appropriate amount of time because I have a physical job. Well, where do I begin? This is my first surgery and Jason Harrison did the procedure fine. The problem I’m having is the secretary, I work for General Motors in the nursing staff there couldn’t accept the paperwork that the surgeon secretary was giving me so then I told her that I will have to get another doctor because my job doesn’t accept you guys paperwork .My job took me off of work 4/8/2024 because of the paperwork they gave me I explained everything to the secretary completely and she said don’t worry about it I’ll t... read more
Cannot say enough good things about Dr Harrison and his wife Nancy! They were exceptional from my consult for a cholecystectomy, surgery, post op visit and beyond. Dr Harrison actually noticed a mole during surgery he was suspicious of and had me come in for removal and biopsy which turned out to be pre-cancerous. I’m eternally grateful for his and Nancy’s care!
Disappointing hernia repair left me with “excessive scar tissue”. Still seeing a therapist over that. Doctor isn’t interested in a discussion or explanation, rudely walked out on my questions. Seems uncaring. Nancy, wife & manager, is excellent! But her book.
