Discrimination? – I am unable to give a complete review because this place is completely discriminatory. Today I attempted to go into the office of the Highlander Inn because I was in town visiting my sister for the night and there was no room in her apartment for me and my boyfriend to stay there. As I approached the office, the lady peeked out at us through the window, and we couldn't get in because the door was locked. Agreed Women Beware! – I was in town visiting friends and family, and needed a cheap place to stay for the night. Someone told me the rates there were very affordable. One of my friends stopped by to visit me. He hadn't been in the room 10 minutes when the owner called me down to the office to tell me that I couldn't have anyone come stay with me. Woman alone beware!!!! – My cousin stayed at this establishment late this summer. She was alone. She cut her stay short because she became frightened to remain. The owner/manager came to her room and told her that he was going to search it . When she protested he said it was company policy that all rooms be searched on Sundays and pushed past her and looked in her drawers, refridgerator and left. He was not seen going to any other rooms.
